Pillard Presence

With an ode to the Greeks this was an interesting revival. Proportionality was key in this design. The focus was to create a dramatic entrance with the oversized columns, and a massive overhang at the front patio. The wrapped ionic columns are over 20 feet tall and 24″ in diameter. The two story entrance was design to engulf all individuals as they proceed to enter the space. Creating a free flowing space from the kitchen to the living room was a prime focus in this design. We wanted to create some specific craftsman components with the ceiling design in the dining room and trim work throughout.
