The Safehaven

Some people use words to evoke emotion, well we decided to use design to evoke that same feeling. The softer color tones on the exterior along with the outdoor living area give you that warm sense and feeling of home. This new construction proved to be a bit difficult due to the sheer 50′ drop on the backside of the lot. With the lot dictating some real constraints, we decided to nestle the residence in the surrounding landscape. This allowed us to create an indoor outdoor transitional space from the great room to the outdoor pool and living area. The great room, although spacious, maintains an important connectivity to the kitchen and dining room spaces. By maintaining those connections we maintain the familial connection.
